San José & Milpitas Promise Program Requirements

To participate in the Promise Program, complete each of the following steps:

• Apply for admission to San José City College
• Apply for the San José Promise Program
• Participate in the Summer Bridge Program
• Join a Learning Community
• Apply for financial aid (FAFSA or CADAA)

• Be a first-time college student
• Enroll in 12 units or more each semester
• Earn a cumulative 2.0 GPA or higher
• Meet regularly with assigned academic counselors
• Attend required orientations and workshops
• Be a Santa Clara County resident
